Rooms, spaces and hospitality

Flexible catering

Whether you want a sit-down three-course meal, a casual working lunch, or afternoon tea on the terrace, we offer exceptional catering from award-winning chef Sonya Kidney. Or you can bring your own packed lunch to store in our fridge, with full access to the kitchen for teas, fresh coffee, and chilled filtered water.

The Library

Tucked away in a corner of the house, The Library is our most private space, making it highly effective for confidential meetings or focused breakout sessions. The layout is easily reconfigured to suit your agenda, whether you require a round meeting table for up to six delegates or a more relaxed arrangement of armchairs by the fire.

The Living Room

Accommodating up to a dozen people, this room features a traditional open fire and offers excellent flexibility. The furnishings can be easily adjusted to suit your working style; we can arrange the space for a single unified group, divide it for smaller collaborative clusters of four to six, or set it up purely as a comfortable breakout room.

The Terrace

Weather permitting, The Terrace provides a refreshing outdoor environment with a total seating capacity for 28. The space is efficiently arranged with one large table for eight, alongside five smaller tables seating four each, making it an excellent option for informal networking, lunches, or fresh-air breakouts.

The Kitchen

A highly versatile breakout space, the kitchen comfortably seats 10 people, providing a separate dining area away from the main meeting room. For added flexibility, the central table can be raised to island height to create a spacious buffet serving area.

The Main Room

Designed for your core sessions, this room is highly adaptable to support a variety of meeting formats. We can configure the space to suit your requirements, offering a Boardroom, Café or Theatre layout.

The Garden

Our two acres of grounds are yours to use as part of your event. We are experienced in managing outdoor setups and can arrange a marquee should you wish to take your awayday completely outdoors.

Specs and compliance

Wi-Fi: Fast, stable broadband supported by a full mesh network.

Presentations: A 50" screen is provided as standard in the main meeting room.

Bespoke AV: We can hire and configure specific, bespoke AV equipment prior to your arrival if required.

Meeting essentials: Additional materials will be discussed during planning.

First aid and medical: Leo holds a St John Ambulance First Aid at Work certificate. Additionally, we maintain a fully stocked first aid kit and an on-site defibrillator.

Insurance: We hold £5 million in public liability insurance, explicitly covering all activities including the gym, cold exposure therapy, breathing sessions, and spa facilities.

Health waivers: A secure digital health waiver is integrated into the pre-arrival questionnaire to ensure we safely understand every team member's medical baseline before they arrive.

Property security: The property is strictly monitored with a full wired alarm system, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors in all rooms and corridors, a heat detector in the kitchen, and carbon monoxide detectors next to all open fires.

All corporate wellness and physical training sessions are led by Leo Brooke-Little, a fully insured and certified professional. His credentials include:

First aid: Holds a St John Ambulance First Aid at Work certificate.

Wim Hof Method®: Official Wim Hof Method Academy Certified Instructor.

Contrast therapy: Completed specialised study in 2024 under Dr Susanna Søberg, a leading international researcher renowned for establishing the physiological protocols and minimum effective doses for human cold and heat exposure.

Physical training: A Personal Trainer since 2010 and an experienced mid-to-long-distance runner.

Martial arts: A 5th Dan Black Belt. Leo has extensive experience adapting physical sessions to all abilities and mobility levels, teaching mixed groups (including primary school age groups) since 2015.

Our approach to accessibility is guided by the Social Model of Disability, and we are committed to removing environmental barriers wherever possible. However, our venue is a historic Grade II listed building, which places strict legal and structural constraints on the modifications we can make to the space. Because accessibility is highly individual and our building does have physical limitations, the most effective way we can support your visit is by speaking with you beforehand so we can honestly discuss your specific requirements, advise you on the layout, and give you a realistic assessment of what is possible.

Meeting room privacy: Whether you book a single room for a two-hour strategy session or multiple rooms for a full day, your dedicated meeting spaces are always completely private, isolated, and confidential.

Shared property context: Heyford House is a former rectory set within two acres of grounds, encompassing a B&B and two family cottages. Unless exclusive use is booked, you may occasionally see other guests, family members, or housekeeping staff in the communal areas or gardens.

Total exclusivity: 100% exclusive use of the house and grounds can be arranged for highly confidential offsites. As privacy requirements are unique to every corporate team, Leo will discuss your specific operational needs during the planning conversation to tailor the exact level of isolation required for your event.

Training facilities: The property features a dedicated gym located in a Victorian greenhouse, alongside ample garden and lawn space for outdoor training or circuits. The Main Room is also fully adaptable for indoor breathwork and exercise sessions.

Contrast therapy equipment: Facilities include two dedicated temperature-controlled ice baths, two wood-fired saunas, an outdoor plunge pool, and an outdoor shower.

Activity logistics: To ensure seamless and comfortable transitions between physical activities and professional meetings, we utilise the on-site bedrooms to provide fully private showering and changing facilities for your team.

Refreshments: Complimentary teas and fresh coffee are available throughout the day.

Dietary management: As Sonya manages her own specific dietary requirements, she understands the critical importance of safe and accurate food preparation. All dietary needs, severe allergies, and personal preferences (e.g., vegan, gluten-free) are captured securely via a pre-arrival questionnaire, ensuring every delegate is catered for.

Access hours: Flexible venue access from 8am through to 8pm

Parking: On-site parking for 5 vehicles directly outside the front door, with ample overflow parking available.

Transport links: A 5-minute walk from Heyford Station. Bicester stations are a 10-minute taxi ride, Banbury is a 15-minute taxi ride, and Oxford station is a 30-minute taxi journey.
