Heyford House is tucked away in the Cherwell Valley, North Oxfordshire. A peaceful spot surrounded by nature. It has been my family's home since 1965. Today, my sister and I run this former Rectory as a B&B and as a dedicated space for restoration and learning. While it retains the soul and warmth of a family home, it offers the exacting standards you'd expect from a modern venue – sauna and ice baths to name just two.
Eating at Heyford House is guided by the remarkable culinary vision of Sonya Kidney. A recognized pioneer of the British gastro-pub revolution, Sonya’s illustrious career includes leading celebrated Cotswolds kitchens like The Marsh Goose and The Churchill Arms, running her own delicatessen, Soda, in Chipping Norton, and contributing extensively to The Guardian through both written food columns and video content.
Today, she brings that wealth of experience to the food at Heyford House.
